Meet Amanda
Founder of Puddle & Pumpkin – where small and medium dogs find big love
If you’ve ever wandered through the parks of Kennington and spotted a joyful pack of small dogs trotting along with tails wagging and ears perked, chances are Amanda was leading the way. She’s not just a dog carer—she’s a trusted companion, a natural pack leader, and the founder of Puddle & Pumpkin, London’s boutique daycare for small and medium dogs.
Amanda’s journey is as adventurous as it is inspiring. Raised in Richmond-Upon-Thames with a deep love for animals and the outdoors, she became a qualified sailing and canoeing instructor before launching a dressmaking business in southern India at just 19. Her travels took her across Bali, Thailand, Japan, Australia, and North America, enriching her life with creativity.
After nearly a decade in London’s high-end corporate catering sector, Amanda made a bold decision in 2017: to follow her heart and care for dogs full-time. Since then, she’s built a loyal community of clients who trust her with their most beloved companions.
